That during our stint in The Glades at Bromley Kent, we were noticed and short listed for an award held at The Dorchester, London on June Over the past 10 years, The SCEPTRE Awards have put the spotlight on management teams, retailers and suppliers that demonstrate real excellence. In 2009 it is The Dorchester's superb ballroom which will host the Awards, presented in 13 categories. Wooden Spoon, the children's charity of the rugby world, will benefit from the fund raising activities around the programme.
They have asked readers in May 2009 to vote online for Retailer of the Year, and this year's Lifetime Achievement Award. The winners were announced at the Awards ceremony. Fergus Slattery, former Irish rugby captain and British Lions star, was our compere for the night, and all guests were entertained by Darius, an extraordinary magician!
